Just received this reply from TrendMicro:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us about this IP address on RBL. 88.198.11.51 was listed because we received spam from this address and
because no action was taken when we reported this to your ISP.

We need to hear from your ISP prior to removing any part of this listing. Please secure your network and contact your ISP, and have
your ISP contact us for removal.

Kind regards,
Ryan Pagaduan

I contacted them too to, but I got no answer at all.
I have to recheck it.
I suppose a spammer put TrashMail.net on their RBL to sabotage the anti-spam service or there was a spam soft bounce to a From address of someone.

Did you click on the first link, get a page with a box with the ISP number inside?

After clicking "Check" you get a Results box with the opportunity to "Request to be removed from the global blocked list" next to "Feedback".

Yes I did.
I re-resent a request to be removed.
I suppose we are on the list because of a wrong soft-bounce of a very old email before double opt-in mechanism has been in place.

Thanks for that.

I'll go through the process again and this time let them know that you tried. I'm curious to see what they say.

Just got an email from the vendor that I was trying to email telling me that the issue has now been fixed.
Didn't say how.

TrashMail.net is still listed in the RBL at TrendMicro.
They complained about a Challenge-Response system answer which was:
"Your message has not been accepted."

They said that would be spam. I tried to explain them that this is not spam. They complained that they got multiple complaints. Maybe because before we had the double opt-in mechanism, the backup MX server send back to forged FROM addresses that a mail did not existed.
However this has been fixed. I asked me to send me a real sample of a spam. They no more answered.

So TrendMicro refuses to remove TrashMail.net from their RBL because they don't really read what I wrote.

Thanks for that.

Perhaps the vendor just whitelisted me.

All the more reason to avoid Trendmicro Products. I'd be worried that if I had problems with the software I would be given the same run-around. Sounds to me like a base grade clerk responds to our emails and doesn't know when to escalate the issue to a higher level. Probably feels his/her chances of promotion would go down if they bothered senior Clerks/Techs.
