FF crash down ...?

Hi Guys,

I wanna mention, that the plug in causes a crash down of Firefox, if the main trashmail.net server is not reachable and down respectively. I don't know, how exactly the error management works - I just want you to know this issue. Or did I do anything wrong?

Best regards,

scarybu

Hi,

you are right. I will try to fix this problem urgently.
I hope you don't loss any valuable data in your firefox browser.

dont't worry!! firefox session recovery brought everything back :P ... but it would be annoying if you call unintentionally your plug in and FF crashes down just because of this non catched error.

a big thank you for your support!

I tried just to handle this error (for version 1.0.8) with the XMLHttpRequest method:
I can catch this error perfectly in synchronized and asynchronized mode.
In the synchronized mode the firefox will freeze after displaying an error message about a timeout, and in the asynchronized mode it will not freeze but not close automatically the main window (firefox bugs?).

It seems to be more difficult than I thought to implement this feature.

This problem should have been fixed since add-on version 2.0 which has been remade from scratch.
