Recent downtime?

In the last couple of month there was quite a few downtimes. The last one lasted two days. Is the service in trouble? Should we be looking for alternative solutions? I really love this place and don't want to see it go, but I can't rely on it. I use it many times per day. It'd be nice if you guys open sourced it, so that each of us could setup their own version on our own server.

Yes there was a downtime of 48 hours. Sorry for this.

Don't worry, this service exists already since 2002. I have no plans to close it. And even if I would plan to close it I would notify you all longtime in advance.
Maybe I should add high availability.
