Ok the first step is partially done.
It's now possible to create E-Mail addresses via SSL.
I need to buy a valid SSL certificate and to implement SSL in the firefox extension.

Ok second step is done, SSL support uses now a valid certificate from a root authority.
The forum is now also secured in SSL. We don't want that E-Mail addresses are send in clear.
Next step is to inform external program to switch to use SSL and to update Mozilla FireFox extension.

Because you now have fully working ssl system, you could also secure front page.

It's annoying when some parts are secured and others aren't.

I could, but your web-browser will get an error that some parts are not encrypted because of the google advertising banners.

Any suggestion?

But they must use in this case my SSL certificate, or I don't know how IE and Firefox will manage when on a page there are two different SSL connections?

Would you like to ask Google if they would like to use my SSL certificate?

Thats go* d*n excellent question. I don't have a clue. I guess it's okey to receive data (pics / ads information or so) from two different sites which both have valid (and certified) SSL keys. I haven't ever tried that but it's just my assuption.

I personally hate sites which mix non-secure and secure content.

Maybe it's then ok to have front page as non secured. But when you submit form it's done using secure connection.

I'm also working with issues like this right now.

I hate also to mix secure and non secure things. But currently TrashMail uses in its front page non secured page, all the rest is secured.
I think it's ok like its now.

SSL support implemented in TrashMail's website and the two programs which uses TrashMail (CCTrashMail and TempMail).

The Mozilla FireFox Extension has now its own ticket for SSL support:
