Address grouping using protected address

Post by Z » 09 Aug 2006, 13:01

Allow modification and viewing all active and deleted (6 mo)) old addresses at once.

Login with password & protected address.

[email protected] X of N messages, active still for X days...
[email protected] X of N messages, active still for X days...
[email protected] X of N messages, active still for X days...

Deleted accounts.

[email protected] X of N messages, active still for X days...
[email protected] X of N messages, active still for X days...

This allows easily to see all used addresses. If you forgot which address you used to login some web-site and that address happens to include that site name or so.

Comments? Personally I like this being a lot better than modifying one address at time.

Hi,
I like this idea. But its not possible that you modify one of this XXXX* emails because somebody who knows your real email address could create a fake account to just modify your real trashmail accounts (for example getting your whitelist).
So how do jump from one account to another and to protect this without registering stuff?

This function has been implemented.
There are currently still two bugs:
- the X-TrashMai-Key field is missing
- its written all the time unlimited forwards

This is not a bug. I forgot that status messages are messages for all TrashMail accounts. The X-Trashmai-Key is specific for one single account. So the system could not guess which would be the correct X-TrashMail-Key field to be used. So no X-TrashMail-Key field at all has been added for status notification messages.

I corrected this bug. Additionally I rechanged the layout and tried to inspire me of the idea of Z. I think the layout that Z presents on this forum has an better overview than what I did initially.
The status notification system should now work perfectly. :-)
