Setting default values with URL

Give the possibility to set manually the default values via URL than cookies.
So URL should have priority against cookie method.
Pick lists on front page are too long

Reason why I suggested this is that I think current picklists are way too long. It's annoying to pick entries from those. Naturally if I could set my preferences by using bookmark with default values I wouldn't need to waste my time picking those selections.
List selecting number of email and accout duration should be a lot shorter.
Like:
Number: 1,10,100,1000,10000
Duration: 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months.
Any comments about this?
