Is there a problem with trashmail.net this morning ?

Looks like mail are not coming through this morning.
I tried to send 3 mails from my gmail account to 3 different trashmail.net/rcpt.at addresses, and they are not getting back to my email.
I then tried to send from my work mail to gmail, and vice versa, and both way worked fine.

Any problem with trashmail servers today ?

You could try to send an email directly from trashmail over the web interface. Maybe it would help to debug the problem.

Hi
1) How exactly can I send from the web interface ? I can't find it.

2) I think I have found the problem: I sent the emails from my destination email address. When I'm sending from another mail they arrive OK. So I wonder is this a "feature" or a bug ?

thanks for the support

Hello,

for 1:
When you create an email address, you can then edit the email address by going on the administration panel. On this panel you have the option "Send email".
But you need to be member of TrashMail Plus.

For 2.:
I'm not sure to understand from which to which address. But if it resolved your problem it should be fine now?

1) I was not aware of that feature. I'm a trashmail plus member, so I'll try it. thanks

2) The problem is still not resolved, but at least I don;t see a problem, other than the following scenario:
- My real email address is at gmail.com.
- When trying to send an email from that gmail address, to some of my trashmail.net/rcpt.at addresses, I expect them to get back to my gmail.
- The email doesn't come through, and also, I don['t get any error from trashmail servers.

Since this scenario is unlikely to happen (writing mails to myself) then the issue is not that critical.

thanks,
shragagaga

Hello,

it seems that Gmail has a protection that will not allow you to write emails over TrashMail.net: Probably they implemented an anti-loop algorithm.
If you try it with Hotmail.com or another email service, it should work.
