I just implemented a new feature that reply-masquerading could not be enabled/disabled in the web address manager.
That could be useful for someones who don't like the reply-to addresses.
New feature: Switch for reply-masquerading

Re: New feature: Switch for reply-masquerading
Timeout of reply addresses can be configurable too please?
Re: New feature: Switch for reply-masquerading
Its 7 days. Currently its not configurable. Don't you think it would become a little to complex if that could be configured?Saxtus wrote:Timeout of reply addresses can be configurable too please?
What would be the perfect setting for you?

Re: New feature: Switch for reply-masquerading
There are moments, when I reply to someone even after 2 months after last communication.
If the reasoning behind it, is to prevent outgoing spam, maybe limit the times each reply address is used instead of limiting its duration.

Yeah, or simply then reply directly to with your real address. Yes I know, its not a permanent solution.Saxtus wrote:There are moments, when I reply to someone even after 2 months after last communication.

It requires to have the new backend which I will try to realize as soon as possible.
