Why do I need to come into the forum to ask these things? Shouldn't there just be a friggin' help file/system so I can RTFM myself?!

There is no help as it should be auto-explaining.
The key is currently only possible to be added from the old address manager interface. But anyway, you should get a random key by DEA address.
Whitelists can be used by DEA address.
