Broken attachments?

For some reasons row changes and attachments get broken when messages come trough trashmail.
Any idea about that?
Like I mentioned earlier spamgourmet, spambob or jetable doesn't do that.
I just received message which has broken attachments. Or was it so that it's meant to broke html email and attachments to prevent viruses?
