How to stop emails forwarded from sender

I'm new to this. Say I give Target Stores a disposable email to buy something, they require it. Then I want the confirm email from them to pick the item up. After that I want to stop email forwarding from them since they start an avalanche of marketing emails. I still want to keep the disposable address. What are the steps to do that, remember you're talking to a newbie. Thanks!
