Email forward fails... [Trashmail.net downtime]

Post by Z » 25 Feb 2008, 10:45

It seems that email forwarding is failing. Also sending email from trashmail.net doesn't work.

So out going smtp traffic from trashmail.net is not working right now.

Just to let you know!

I hope it'll be fixed soon.

Also I would like to inform you that https is for some reason pretty slow for this site.

- Thanks!

I hope that any email won't be lost.

Finally, now it seems to be working ok, and there is no queue anymore.

** Situation is normal again **

Correct, I did not yet had the time to analyse the problem, but it seems that somebody has done a mail bomb or it was an infinite loop due to a software error in trashmail.
There was 119745 mails in the queue queue. I think that TrashMail is very fast to handle this. :-)
99,99% of this mails in the queue was made for one destination.

Yep, this time you shuold take a while to analyse situation. Because it seems that it has happened again.

No mail is being forwareded, or if it is (I didn't have time to wait) it might take a while.

- Thanks!

Or not... It took just 25 minutes to get messages forwarded. Usually trashmail is lightning fast, so I didn't want to wait. And I made hasty assumption.
