Thanks, Dyndns has again deleted the IP address assignement.
I think its time to remove fakemail.dyndns.org and replacing it with a new real domain name.
Any suggestion what it could be? I think it would be good to take a serious name, not like trashmail, more somehing like corp.biz or something like this.

I think this is so important issue that there should be separate thread for this matter.

You'll find it here: https://ssl.trashmail.net/forum/viewtop ... p=586#p586

Hi.

Could you please recrete the fakemail.dyndns.org adress? My YouTube account is set to use this adress and I have forgotten my YT password - now I need to find a way to either change the password or email adress. Both require, that my @fakemail.dyndns.org adress is reachable.

Or, if you don't object, I'd create the fakemail.dyndns.org name myself.

Thanks a lot!

How about storing passwords somewhere safe? And NOT using password recovery. I just mentioned in another thread that's it's way stupid to use password recovery at all.

Hi.

Yes, that's of course a good idea and I normally store passwords in a KeePass database. And I do use good passwords (like "O_3w@,RvDC^D$F").

But, for whatever reason, I haven't stored this password in KeePass. And now I need to find a way to get it back. Would you mind, if I'd setup fakemail.dyndns.org?

Thanks a lot!

It's working again.

I reclaimed it so somebody else can't reclaim it and potentially abuse it. It also redirects to trashmail.net if being accessed with browser.

Admin, let me know if you want login information.

I still recommend that nobody uses this domain anymore, because it'll be freed again eventually.

I become crazy with this dyndns, I will soon rebuy own domain names.

DynDNS and constant reactivation sucks.

You should be disable fakemail.dyndns.org forwarding for trashmail.net. So users using it get to know that it's not working anymore. Or better include some kind of warning to incoming messages. So it doesn't suddenly stop working.
