TrashMail was limited to 2,1 billion accounts creations in total because for each creation an unique ID is created in the database. This ID is unique, even if the account is deleted. The ID will not be reused.
The problem is that the 2,1 billion could be reached one day if many account are created each day.
Now the limit has been pushed up to 64 Bits which gives a limit of 18000000000 billion. If this limit would be reached, hopeful that it could be possible to switch to 128 Bits (which the database server does not support yet) or old IDs must be deleted with a simple script and be reused.
I hope this upgrade in the database would not have negative side effects. Please let me know if there are some problems...
